Welcome to Healing Hands - Complimentary Therapies by Darren Kail

After working for several years, I decided to train as a Fitness Instructor &
gained my YMCA Personal Fitness Trainer Award. While working as a
fitness instructor I had the opportunity to compete for Great Britain, in judo
& went on to compete in the Sydney & Athens Paralympic Games & the
World Judo Championships, for the visually impaired, in Rome & Canada.

While training as an international judo player I soon learnt to appreciate
what complementary therapies had to offer & once qualified I had the
opportunity to massage in the South of France, Brazil, Germany and Italy, among others, for the judo squad. In 2001 I trained at the Royal National College, to become a Remedial Therapist, where I gained my I.T.E.C Diploma in Anatomy & physiology plus massage. I then went on to take a course in Indian Head Massage & Reflexology.

The following year I gained a B.T.E.C. Diploma, in Sports Massage Therapy at the London School of Sports Massage, recognised by the Sports Massage Association. I am now additionally qualified in on site chair massage & Aromatherapy massage.

After completing the advanced gym apprenticeship in 2008 I decided I would enjoy teaching classes more than working in gyms. So I went on to teaching Spinning and Pilates. I still work in gyms as a personal trainer for the re-enablement team with special needs groups.

I generally practice my therapies at Winchmore Osteopaths in Winchmore Hill and Bella Beautique, in Oakwood. I also offer home visits for an additional £5.

At percent I am continuing to carry on gaining professional Development Points.
